’Como No.1 ‘ is a painting that is my way of capturing the moment Lake Como made me pause. When I stood there, surrounded by that incredible quietness and the soft blend of white light and blue water, something in me settled. This painting isn’t about re-creating the view but it’s about translating the feeling carried home with me. The minimum pallet reflects how clean and free the experience was, almost like the world slowed down for a second. Every soft Shift of blue is connected to that memory, that calm, That nostalgia. This is my personal reminder of stillness , and I hope viewers feel a sense of escape and breath in it too.
